The Band a long time ago

During midsummer Klas an I visited my old friend and guitargiant Pelpe/Per-Lennart in the little town of Sala.

Träd

Ett träd slår rot på en otillgänglig plats. Har trädet någon medveten vilja att klamra sig fast för att överleva? Nej, det tror jag inte. Men den anpassar sig till de yttre förhållandena. Den fullföljer sin bestämning att växa, långsamt och oemotståndligt till synes utan någon medveten ansträngning och viljestyrka.
Förhåller det sig på samma sätt med människans psykiska växt?

Pinocchio walking to university in Borås

A nine meter high statue of Pinocchio in the city of Borås? The statue is a gift from the artist Jim Dine and it´s called "Walking to Borås".
Many people in Borås say no thanks. They don´t think Pinocchio has anything to do with Borås. The leadership in the city say yes. They think Pinocchio has something to do whith Borås. In their opinion it´s a matter of education.

In the fairytale Pinocchio had to choose between to go to school or to be on an island where you have fun all the time. He choose the island and there his ears starts to grow and he became more and more transformed into a donkey.

Early in the morning or late in the eavning. To take a short swim is always refreshing.

The last scene i the film Planet of the Apes. The three astronauts thought they were on a planet somewhere in the starconstellation of Orion but in fact they have travelled in a circle. They were back on Earth.

I was a teenager when I saw the film. It was a hot summernight in Stockholm 1968. The day after me,my brother and parents was leaving Sweden for one month journey in Ukraine.

The film was a memory for the rest of my life.
